Beit HaShofar is one of the oldest Messianic Jewish Synagogues in the Northwest. We value Jewish expression and a traditional Jewish approach to our faith and practice in the Jewish messiah. We utilize the HaYesod program as a tool to build bridges with the larger Christian community in our area and to educate Christians about the continued role of the Jewish people, the Jewishness of Yeshua, and the faithfulness of God to his people Israel.

My husband Craig and I have been part of the Hebrew Roots movement and associated with a Messianic congregation in the Gig Harbor area for the last two years. We are eager to share the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith all who are interested in our area (Kitsap Peninsula, Gig Harbor, Tacoma area in Washington State).

We hope to start a HaYesod group in January 2010, and offer it about once a quarter in a small group or home fellowship/study group (our home or yours).

Join us! This is a great class for anyone who is interested, but a little intimidated, and doesn't know where to start.

We eagerly anticipate that the HaYesod program will effectively communicate to the greater Tri-Cities community the Biblical perspective regarding the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. About your Tri-Cities HaYesod Facilitator: I have a special respect and love for the Jewish people. I enjoy close ties to both Beit Teffilah and Beth Yeshua Messianic Jewish congregations (in western Washington).

Beit Tikvah is part of a world-wide movement of Messianic congregations who worship Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah in the context of Jewish lifestyle and identity. Our Congregational Leader is Hylan Slobodkin.

We are in a very small farming community and we plan to use the Hayesod program as often as we can. We are actually located in Biggs Junction Oregon, but our Hayesod program is being conducted in a home setting in Goldendale which is only 11 miles from the congregational meeting location.

We know this program will add the 3rd dimention to the Bible which has been lost over the Years. It is time to return to the full Jewishness of the Scriptures in order to gain a deeper and more complete understanding.
